About Eugenio Marongiu

Born in Sardinia in 1980 he moved first to Perugia in 2001 for university studies and then to Milan in 2009 to study photography at the prestigious CFP Bauer school of photography.

During and after his studies he follows the career of photojournalism for 2 years publishing on the most important national magazines.

Afterward, he definitely dedicates himself to commercial lifestyle photography for agencies and clients.

In 2019 the book 'Personas' Republic of Milan' is produced by Around Gallery.

He currently lives and works as a professional photographer in Milan and is represented by the agency 'Oplà Production'.

Through his images, he captures lights and natural moments of everyday life. He rarely sets his subjects because for him it is important that authenticity is the key to all his work.

For this reason, the human figure is at the center of his photographic research, which is not reduced to a pure shot but becomes a discovery of the other.

Through this approach, he gets to know new people, new realities and tells stories.
